By Train from London Waterloo

Change at Alton where you can board the famous Watercress Line steam train to enjoy the 40-minute journey to Alresford. Tickets cost £12 for adults, £6 for children (2-16 yrs) and £30 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).

For New Alresford > enter SO24 9
Please note that the festival is held in New Alresford and this is the correct name that you should input if you are using satellite navigation or an internet route finder to obtain directions. The original settlement of Alresford was renamed Old Alresford when the new town was established.

Travelling from London on the A3

Head for the FREE Park & Ride from The Watercress Line's Ropley Station. Follow the A3 out of London to Guildford, then take the A31 which is signposted Farnham/Winchester/Alton. Ropley Station is located just off the A31. Turn right into Station Hill which is before the Shell garage.
If you do not intend to use the Park and Ride facility, stay on the A31 signposted Winchester and follow the signs for Alresford.

From M3 Motorway heading south

Head for Stratton Bates car park
Exit at M3 Junction 9 and follow signs to join A31 signposted New Alresford and Alton before taking the B3047 into Alresford. Turn right into Jacklyns Lane, and right again into Grange Road. Stratton Bates car park is clearly signposted.

From M3 Motorway heading north

Head for Stratton Bates car park
Exit at M3 Junction 10 and follow signs to join A31 signposted New Alresford and Alton before taking the B3047 into Alresford. Turn right into Jacklyns Lane, and right again into Grange Road. Stratton Bates car park is clearly signposted.

From Petersfield

Head for the FREE Park & Ride service from Ropley Station
Take the A272 signposted Winchester, turn right at Bramdean Garage and continue through Bramdean Common. At the roundabout turn right onto the A31, then turn left into Station Hill situated after the Shell garage.

From Basingstoke

Head for Old Alresford (Hollingbury Field) car park
Follow the A339 under the motorway. After 100 yards turn right onto the B3046. Continue through the Candovers into Old Alresford and turn right into Abbotstone Lane. Follow signs for Hollingbery Field.
