Procession to Get Festival off to a Flyer!

The festival procession is set to begin at 10.30am in Broad Street, where the Town Cryer will announce the start of the parade. Following the Town Cryer will be Hook Eagle Morris, adorned with magical tokens and performing their colourful Morris dances. Behind them, the popular Horse and Cart will be carrying Antony Worrall Thompson, accompanied by the Watercress King and queen and bags of watercress!
Sun Hill Infants will also be steam training their way through the procession which will be finished off by more Morris dancing, this time courtesy of BasingClog Morris who are renowned for their endless energy!
With such a lively procession promised, be sure not to miss it!
