The street cavalcade gets things going and is the chance for festival-goers to taste some of the first watercress of the season. Music, song and dance performances take place all day on the Main Stage in Broad Street, the Bandstand at St. John's Church and on the streets! Well-known local chefs will demonstrate their skills and some mouth-watering recipes at the Cookery Demo Unit. Throughout the day Morris dancers and street performances from the students of Perins School will entertain you.
