Parking for the festival 

There are a number of festival cars parks in and around Alresford - the largest is the Park & Ride at Ropley.  Nothing needs to be prebooked and is all on a first-come first-served basis. 

What3Word locations are given for each approximate location.  Please follow the road signs and marshalls will direct you to the entrances. Payment can be made by cash or contactless.

ROPLEY PARK & RIDE - Parking charge of £10 per car (includes free travel on the rail or coach link).

What3Words location

Either take a ride on the Mid Hants Railway ‘Watercress Line or, during peak times, a luxury coach into New Alresford. There will be a shuttle bus from Ropley starting at 0900hrs with the last return from Alresford at 1630hrs. The bus stop is located at the bottom of Station Hill, Ropley. 

Free Festival Travel tickets will be issued by our marshals at Ropley and will be required for travel to/from the festival on both the trains and coaches. If you wish to travel the rest of the ‘Watercress Line’, Mid Hants Railway fares apply. NB - this car park is unsuitable for disabled festival-goers.

STRATTON BATES CAR PARK  - Parking charge of £5 per car.

What3Words location

This car park is to the west of the town centre and is best approached from the west or south. The festival is a 10-minute walk into town. This car park is unsuitable for disabled festival-goers. No shuttle bus service.

HOLLINGBERY FIELD CAR PARK  - ​Parking charge of £5 per car.

What3Words location

This car park is to the north of the town centre and is best approached along the B3046 through Old Alresford. The festival site is a 10-minute walk or a FREE shuttle bus ride into town. This car park is unsuitable for disabled festival-goers.

VIP EAST STREET CAR PARK  - ​Parking charge of £10 per car or £2 per motorcycle

What3Words location

This car park is to the east of the town centre opposite Long Barn and should be approached along the B3047 via Bishop’s Sutton. The car park is 200 metres walk from the festival site (East Street). This car park is unsuitable for disabled festival-goers. No shuttle bus service. This car park is recommended for motorcycles. 

PARKING FOR BLUE BADGE HOLDERS - Free - PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE VERY LIMITED BLUE BADGE PARKING 

What3Words location

Parking for vehicles displaying a Blue Badge is in the Lower Car Park at Perins School. It is to be approached from the south along Jacklyns Lane. Parking elsewhere at the festival may be unsuitable as the car parks are in fields. No shuttle bus service.

PARKING FOR MOTORCYCLISTS & CYCLISTS -  Motorcycles (£2) and bicycles (Free)

Parking for motorcycles and bicycles is offered at the East Street Car Park (opposite Long Barn). In the interests of public safety, motorcycles and ridden cycles will NOT be allowed access to the festival site.  No shuttle bus service.

PARKING FOR COACHES

There is limited space for PREBOOKED coaches at £30 - please register here. Parking will be along The Avenue (near to but not blocking the fire station) - there is to be NO parking in The Dean.
