NEW FOR 2024 - FESTIVAL ARTISTS

Have you ever watched an artist at work? Ever fancied a painting of your pet, your children or yourself?

This year we are delighted that local artists will be joining us in various areas around the festival, to show case their skills, take commissions or just let you watch them work?

Charlie Jewett

19 year old artist working with spray paints and acrylics will be located near Abby's Heroes in Broad Street.

Catherine Ruth Church

Catherine’s studio is based near Twyford, in Hampshire; she takes her inspiration from the flowers, plants and natural forms that she finds in gardens and on walks around this area and beyond.

Her flower paintings are in collections all over the world, they are joyful, life-affirming, richly detailed and endlessly fascinating. There is much to discover in the complex layers of pattern and texture and bold colour.

She works on canvas with household paint, oil and acrylic, pearlized paint and pencil.

Julie Hepenstal

Julie has been painting for over forty years.

She loves colour and that is her inspiration to begin a painting. She incorporates patterns and textures into her pictures.

Julie mainly paints landscapes and still life using acrylics, oils, gouache or mixed media.
