FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below we have tried to answer the most frequently asked questions.

ACCESSIBILITYThe festival itself is in a street location with pavements, ramps and facilities. There are easy access toilets located in the Blue Badge car park and in Station Road.  The parking facilities other than Perins School are unsuitable for the infirm. Please be aware that there is very limited Blue Badge parking at Perins School.  As with the last 3 years we have secured a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter on the main stage this year.
BABY CHANGE & FEEDING One of the local playgroups provides baby change facilities and a seating area where you can feed your baby in Station Road. 
CASHThere is only 1 cash machine in the Co-Op and the 4G signal can be a bit hit and miss, so bring cash with you.
DATESunday 16th May 2027- always the third Sunday in May! 
DOGSPlease be aware that the festival does get very busy and it is sometimes extremely difficult to walk through the main streets so, whilst dogs can visit the festival, please take a considered view that this may not be suitable for your dog.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on The Watercress Line between Ropley Park and Ride and Alresford, however, they dogs are not permitted on the Farm Tours.

DRINKS/WATERAre available at many retail outlets, coffee shops and festival traders in Broad Street.  Some shops take part in the water refill scheme. 
FILMINGPhotography and filming will be taking place during the festival. By attending, you may appear in images or video used in national and local media coverage, on social media, and across festival marketing materials including our website.
FESTIVAL TIMES The Cavalcade marks the official opening at 10:00hrs but trading may start at 09:30hrs.  The festival must close at 16:00hrs.
PARKING Full details can be found on the GETTING HERE page. Postcodes for guidance only and directional signs are in use.

Local volunteers will guide you to the exact site.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTAccess to the festival via Stagecoach Bus is on route 64 from Alton or Winchester. There is a mainline train service from London to Winchester or Alton.

P&R SHUTTLE - TRAIN  The timetable for the The Watercress Line shuttle between Ropley & Alresford is on their website or can be found here.
TICKETS The free festival is open to all with no tickets required. The only charge is parking and your own personal spend. 
TOILETSEco Portaloo style toilets are locate behind the Library in Broad Street, Station Road and each of the car parks. There are public toilets in Station Road as well as at the station, community centre and some businesses may allow access. 

There are accessible toilets located in the Blue Badge car park (lower level of Perins School off Jacklyns Lane)  and in Station Road.
