Trader Applications
Thank you for your interest in the Alresford Watercress Festival 2027.
Applications for the 2027 Alresford Watercress Festival will open in November 2026 and close on 31 January 2027.
We do not operate on a first come, first served basis. Once applications have closed, we review all submissions together to create the best possible mix of traders across the festival.
When selecting traders, we consider the quality and presentation of your products, how well they fit with the festival, whether products are locally made, produced or sourced, and what makes your business stand out. We also look carefully at the overall balance of the event, including the number of traders offering similar products, food or services.
Previous attendance does not automatically guarantee a place, and new traders are always welcome to apply.
Tell us what makes you different! The information and photographs you provide with your application help us make our selections.
What happens next?
We aim to notify all applicants of the outcome of their application by mid-February 2027. If you are offered a place, payment will be due by return to secure your pitch.
Our website uses a membership-based system to help us keep administration costs down. Because of this, the Direct Debit mandate may appear to indicate that payment is collected annually. Please be assured that this is not the case. Your payment relates only to the festival for which you have been accepted.
Once the festival has taken place, trader payment details held within the system are deleted and no automatic annual payment will be taken.
