Thomas Lampitt is Chef Tutor at the Season Cookery School at Lainston House. 

Having started working in professional kitchens at just 14 and trained at Ludlow & Hereford College, he built his early career at the three-rosette Fishmore Hall before joining Lainston House in 2017. After helping to launch the Wellhouse restaurant and refining his skills in open-fire and barbecue cooking, he moved into teaching full-time, where he now leads a range of indoor and outdoor cookery classes, sharing his expertise in fire cooking, smoking and bold seasoning.

Tom Younger (big tom) and Thomas “Lampy” Lampitt are part of the talented culinary team at Lainston House, where they share a passion for bold flavours and cooking with fire.
